The KFGS series gages for concretes comes with a suitable lead-wire cable for strain measurement of concrete. They are made of Polyimide and resistive material of CuNi alloy foil. They have self-temperature-compensation of 10 to 100ºC and an applicable linear expansion coefficients (×10-6/℃) of 11. They are able to withstand strain limits of approximately 5% at normal temperature and fatigue lives at normal temperature of up to 1.2x10^7 (±1500μm/m) times. Besides the silver-clad copper lead wire, KFGS strain gages with pre-attached lead cables are available on request.
