The KFNB Series Non-inductive Foil Strain Gage is made up of polyimide and the gage element is made of a special NiCr alloy which provides less magnetoresistant effect; also, the shape is designed to eliminate induction. Thus, the KFNB series foil strain gages can accurately measure strain under AC magnetic environments. It has self-temperature-compensation of 0 to 150ºC and an applicable linear expansion coefficients (×10-6/℃) of 11,16 and 23. It is able to withstand a strain limits of approximately 1.0% at normal temperature and fatigue lives at normal temperature of up to 1x10^4 (±1500μm/m) times. Besides the silver-covered copper lead wire, KFNB strain gages with pre-attached lead cables are available on request.
