The KFP series foil strain gages/gauges for plastics provide an applicable linear expansion coefficient of 65 (×10-6/℃), which makes them suitable for strain measurement of plastics such as acrylic resin. They are made of polyimide with resistive element made of CuNi alloy foil. They have self-temperature-compensation of 10 to 80ºC and an applicable linear expansion coefficients (×10-6/℃) of 65. They are able to withstand strain limits of approximately 3.0% at normal temperature and a fatigue lives at normal temperature of up to 1x10^6 (±1500μm/m) times. Besides the silver-clad copper lead wire, KFP strain gages with pre-attached lead cables are available on request.
